A Little Surprise

I haven't given you guys a real thank-you-followers gift, so here it is. Gabrielle was a singer, Madame G, and has produced a lot of albums and songs. To thank you all, I've created a collection album, EP, and singles covers (Please excuse them being rectangular, I couldn't get them square. Also, if you click on them, they enlarge) and lyrics for her songs. These aren't all of her songs, just the most noteworthy. Thanks a million for the views and support,  here ya go:

Madame G's business card from when she was just starting out, making her way in the world by singing Sing-O-Grams.

Madame G's first single, written about losing love and how painful it can be to move on. It is also used as a reference to drug addictions and how hard it is to overcome them.

La, la, oh, di, da
Can't keep telling me baby
Cause I love ya
It's time that we finally
Decide to get our own lives
Mine's sitting on the porch
Wonderin' where I went
You stole me away from who-o-o I am-m-m
Baby I keeping buying you
And I can't keep myself from saying that I'm busy lovin' you
I don't love ya baby
Oh, la di da ah  hey-ey-ey
So go away, if I say-ay-ay
Mayb-ay-ay I won't let the needle in
To keep the pain away from no end
Not that it'll keep us from fallin' back to the start

Singing songs and lovin' the enemy
You hypnotize me, can't I say
Now as you melt away into my veins
Pulsing through my brains
Why-y-y-y can't you see
I'm an addict through and through

Met and stopped and stared
Not believing what needle just pierced our skin
Oh baby, hey-ey-ey can't we just stay away
But I keep pulling and you're pushing and now we're sitting stuck without the perfection

I don't love ya baby
Oh, la di da ah  hey-ey-ey
So go away, if I say-ay-ay
Mayb-ay-ay we could try again
Not that it'll keep us from fallin' back to the start

Kiss me slowly
As I slip away to another world
Where we can love each other
Without poisoning our lives
But we can't stop, cause it's toxic
And I'm addicted

Kiss me slowly

As I slip into another world

Where we can love each other

Without poisoning our lives

But we can't stop, cause its toxic

And I'm addicted

Now that you're gone

Now that you're gone

I love you more than an-n-ny-thang

But I can't let myself give in

Now that you're gone

I have to mo-oo-oo-ve right on

Without you

Without y-o-o-ou-u

Madame G's second single, that she released at a back to back two day concert.

The stars alone
Couldn't help save me
Because I'm already too far gone
I sit, staring at the pictures that have already passed
Ripping them up just cause I'm not that fast
And I burn the memories
Knowing the smiles aren't real
Cause when the world is made of circles and dimes
Life is plain fantasy
Help me find something real
Something fake
Something I can claim as mine
Cause the world's missing the broken pieces
We're already aged past this fantasy
Where I curl up and claim you as mine
We're circles being paid with dimes
Filling the gaps, leaving mine
Help save me
As the sky collides
Thinking maybe we aren't just circles and dimes
When that's all life has to offer
You're just a circle in a world of mine
And I love you, can't help but miss you
Cause you only hated me when I told you the truth
And the image isn't made of me for you sir, sleuth
Cause I'm passed from you
The stars alone
Couldn't help save me
Because I'm already too far gone
To a time where you loved me and the sky didn't collide
We're already aged past this fantasy
Where I curl up and claim you as mine
We're circles being paid with dimes
Filling the gaps, leaving mine
As the circles break the glass

Her third song and first EP (Extended play) featuring seven songs, including Circles & Dimes and Addict.

Stars and cuts and clouds
Hollow like she's made of glass
Waiting for everything to just pass
Everything falls apart
The cuts are sharp
Leave no mark
Shredding her heart
When he's never even got to start
Clouds and pieces drifting away
Like he's the only thing to say stay
Keep her together
Don't let her drift off in the weather
Now that he's gone
Now that he's gone
Comes crashing down
Angels fall from the sky
Never returning

Ice Cream was the theme song for the children's show Sundae Ponies. It was released on the Best Friends Forever: Ponies Rule Album featuring several other various artists.

With you, oh, oh, oh my life is so sweet.

We're cherries on a sundae

And I can't help but sing

Cause we're ice cream and rootbeer
Peanut butter and jelly

Friendship and love forever

Because we're Sundae Ponies

Running through the fields

Happiness isn't limited

Together forever

Oh-oh-oh

Sundae Ponies

Life is an ice cream cone

Sticky sweet

Dreams of strawberries and chocolate delights

Vanilla cream and choclatey chip-ity cookie dreams

La di da di da la oh la la la

Ooh yeah, yeah, yeah di yeah

Baby me and you together

Yeah, di da, yeah

Loving you isn't limited cause it's all limitless

Love oh di da yeah

Fire was written about Gabrielle's first pregnancy and the love and pain and conflict it caused. A shockingly popular ballad, with several uplifting choruses, it was awarded several awards, including a Muse during the Summer Musey Awards.

Breaths
Stop, slowly
Wanting a love, wanting a life
Tomorrow for my darling
Burning, you're my fire

The past is near, going without a fear
Breaking today, trying to be kept from being pushed away

But I love you now
And love I always will
Because you're so bright, burning for me
Lighting the path

And I can't hope without light
And I can't see without sight
Because you're a dancing ember
Tugging us on
When all is so far gone

But I love you now
And love I always will
Because you're so bright, burning for me
Lighting the path

Truths sitting around the lies
And the truth pushing forwards
For my darling, I will tell
For I always felt alone
But without my flame I am not
For you're still lighting the way

And you're my flame
That never changed
Silence
Cleans the airs
My flame destroys me
Breaking me

For I have loved without you
And I will not live without you
When my life is love
And you're love is my life

The ember will dance on
Bringing us together
Without the seed
Planted here

And I can't hope without light
And I can't see without sight
Because you're a dancing ember
Tugging us on
When all is so far gone

Because my ember is life pulling me towards you
For I have loved without you
And I will not live without you
When my life is love
And you're love is my life

With you tonight
The fire is right
And I won't burn myself with the flame

Rain was written about he first true love, Jason's death. It was released on the tenth anniversary of his demise.  It also was her second full album (it included twelve songs).

She stands there in the pouring rain
Knowing nothing can ever be the same

Trying to piece together the past
Whenever everything just shatters like it's made of glass

And now we don't know what to do
Like everyone's just passing through

When nothing is good enough to say goodbye to-o-o
What are we suppose to do?

Saying lies and playing games
Making promises and saying sames
And nobody's ashamed

When nothing is the truth
What a-ah-are we suppose to do?

The air is filled with sighs
As we avoid goodbyes

Puh-puh-pull away
Trying to keep tears at bay
When there's just some things you can't say

I close my eyes
He's far away

And everybody's gone
Melting, disappearing whenever something goes wrong

Hollywood, one of her final songs, was written during her sudden overnight rise to fame. Many also believe it to be about love and a relationship where the couple is always judging each other. Hollywood, a very judgmental hypocritical place, is used as a metaphor.

Oh-oh-oh-yeah

Baby, I sit here
One two three
And you're waiting on me

What happened to the day
Where we could just stop and stay
And Hollywood didn't say nay
Cause I miss it
And my day can't wait

You're Hollywood for me
Stop and stare
Judge who ever isn't near
And it's in print
You're my judge-uh-oh-uh

And I miss the heat
Cause when we're being loved
By the people who judge
We can't stop thinking

Baby, I sit here
One two three
And you're waiting on me

And my song is gone
Without Hollywood thinking
And I'm not good enough
And you're the only thing that is
Moving to me
Moving past Hollywood

A song used in a small budget film, Seeing Pieces never had the popularity everyone hoped for. The lyrics are broken up into pieces, only a fragment is given.

Joyce can't cry
She's got the sky
And his voices whisper
As he passes by

Coming closer with every breath
But she can't take the step
Can't break the pieces apart

Knowing he'll always be the same
So we just stay numb
Hoping the pain doesn't come running back
As the world divides me from you
Because the pieces are the only thing we see

Crashing Stars has had seven consecutive weeks as a number one single. It is probably Madame G's first most popular song, Fire being her second, and was what launched her come back career, after the birth of her second child. It has won countless awards and been covered by a countless amount of shows and singers.

Everything's alined
Everything's apart
We waited for perfection
For the stars to to be lined up

Now that we're falling
That the lights are holding us
We can only star
Standing above to world
Surrounded by crashing stars

A very lighthearted song that has cover art drawn by her daughter, Maverick, LA DI DA was recorded after Madame G made up a song to sing with her children during playtime. It was suppose to be a comeback song, but failed to be popular. It ended up being an album featuring the song Crashing Stars. After Maverick ended up mentally insane and kleptomaniac, this song faded away and was hidden by producers. Few copies are left today, making the song and any CDs incredibly valuable. (It is one of her least popular, but most valuable songs ever recorded.)

Bop shoe whop di dop
And la di da
You and me are gonna sing
And I know we will
Cause it goes a little like this

Bip, oh, bippity bop
Shoe wop di do
La di da
Dance in the rain and sing cause we're not so sane

Fa di do da la la la la
We'll dance and play dolls
Singing to songs
Clapping our hands

And la di da fly so high
Singing with our wings
Oh-h-h mo-h row-de-do da di la la

Swinging on the playground dancing cause
The rain goes bippity bop oh bop
Splish splash clash crash
Shwoop de do-o-o-p-oh

Bop shoe whop di dop
And la di da
You and me are gonna sing
And I know we will
Cause it goes a little like this

Bip, oh, bippity bop
Shoe wop di do
La di da
Dance in the rain and sing cause we're not so sane

And me and you gonna dance round and round
Cause no rain can stop
La da di da
Rah, oh ma la la
La di da-a-a

    1. Thanks! I liked poetry a lot when I was younger, so I thought I could channel some of that. I'm so grateful for everyone who reads the legacy and wanted to thank you guys and I thought this would be a (unique &) fabulous way to do it. :D
